Allsafe and QSure Insurance Brokers merge

Allsafe Insurance Brokers welcomed five new team members this month, finalising their merge with QSure Insurance Brokers.

QSure Insurance Brokers and QSelect Agencies, managed by Melissa Ryan, offers specialist products for landlords, newsagencies and professional women in conjunction with their traditional commercial broking operations.

Allsafe Insurance Brokers are a longstanding broking firm celebrating their 40th birthday this year. They offer expertise in the prestige vehicles, transport and logistics, hospitality and civil contractor sectors. It is the larger of the two entities with 20 full-time staff and offices in South Brisbane.

Allsafe Insurance Brokers Principal Jeff Moule said it was a great opportunity for both businesses to consolidate some of their back of office operations whilst extending their offerings to a wider range of customers who value dealing with people.

“QSure complements Allsafe as we both operate in similar segments by offering solutions to SME businesses.  We are very pleased to be able to leverage QSure’s specialist experience so we can continue to build our collective offering and provide customers with even better solutions driven by their needs,” Mr Moule said.

“Melissa and the QSure team are very experienced and well regarded in their sectors, and we’re excited to welcome them to the team.”

Both businesses are part of the Aviso Group, which consists of 10 partners across Australia and is responsible for the placement of in excess of $330m Gross Written Premium. This is the second consolidation in the broader Aviso broking group in six months and is in line with the Group objectives to drive efficiencies, standards and cohesion.

Melissa Ryan said their commercial clients would notice a name change, with QSure becoming part of the Allsafe brand but the QSelect brand would remain for their Landlords and vacant land customers.

“What’s important for customers is that their service contact would remain the same as all staff have moved to the combined operation,” Ms Ryan said.

“We’ll also now have access to the collective knowledge and expertise of the Allsafe team so we’ll be able to provide our clients with better products and services as a result.”
